Things are finally falling into place for my 'Coasts and Cols' bikepacking trip. The route is finalised (Read my blog: 'Introducing the 'Coasts and Cols' Bikepacking Tour'); the ferry to Santander is booked; the bike is ready to roll (Read my blog: '5000km Review - The Kona Private Jake').

In this blog, I give the full layout of the kit that I've selected to take on the tour…

Riding Kit

The riding kit that I have selected for the tour comes from a variety of cycle clothing brands, available at Wiggle. It is lightweight, minimalist, yet durable kit; selected because I trust it to take me through the 1900 kilometres of riding, in comfort.

Casual Kit

Although the majority of my waking hours on the 'Coasts and Cols' Tour will be spent riding; there will be times when I'm off the bike, and in casual wear.

This is the lightweight kit that I've chosen from our Wiggle Outdoors Range; to keep me in comfort on rest days and evenings.

Camping Kit

The new range of Outdoor and Camping Kit at Wiggle left me spoilt for choice selecting the tent, sleeping mat and sleeping bag for the 'Coasts and Cols' Tour.

Tool Kit and Spares

This is kit to keep the Kona Private Jake functioning 100 percent, throughout the 1900 kilometres that it needs to travel.

These products include bicycle computers, lights, power banks and first aid kits; all essentials that will keep me and the bike functioning throughout the trip.

A large collection of bicycle touring kit; all of which has been selected because it performs well, and offers the best chance of getting me through the 1900 kilometre ride.

Stay tuned on the #coastsandcols hashtag for updates throughout the trip
