Hi my name is Andrew Delahay and I have worked for Wiggle for the last 12 years. I am the second longest serving employee with the company and have seen the company grow from 3 guys and a girl in a small office at the back of Bikes@Bulters to the worldwide success that it is today.
A passion for riding bikes
I have been riding mountain bikes for the past 21 years and have tried a few aspects of the sport from XC racing, Downhill and 12/24 hour events. I ridden all kinds of bikes, from fully rigid single speeds to plush full suspensions bikes. My proudest moments within racing was winning the overall open category at the Gorrick Spring Series in 2013, and outside of racing it is completing the 100miles of the Southdowns Way in just over 10 ½ hours of riding. The main thing for me though is just getting out there riding with mates enjoying the ride and banter that goes with it, exploring new trails and loving that feeling of nailing a familiar trail the best you can.
Working at Wiggle
I feel very proud to have been involved with Wiggle and experience its amazing growth and commitment to bringing excellent service to all our customers. In my 12 years here I have touched many areas of the business; from starting in processing and packing, to returns and customer services through to Goods-in. For 8 years I worked for Wiggle's excellent bike workshop and worked at Wiggle's amazing range of events.
For the last two years I have had a massive change of direction and started to work more behind the scenes; using my product knowledge helping the website content team, to bring the best product information to our web pages, and finally to the role as technical advisor for the wheels, tyres and training team.
What has kept me working for Wiggle for so long is the fact that I ride to work everyday and I am involved in a sport that I love, which helps me want to make sure that we are getting our customers the best products, at great prices and delivering great service for the sports they love.
