If you’ve had your ear to the ground listening out for exciting cycling events, you might have heard of CrankedUP. In a world of lockdowns and social distancing, the virtual get-together on December 20 might just be the best thing to happen to cycling in what seems like a very long time.
CrankedUP is the first virtual cycling festival of its kind, putting the social experience back into cycling events.
The self-styled party in a pain cave combines music, virtual mingling, exciting racing action, and much more to create a game-changing event.
How to get involved in CrankedUP
CrankedUP is available to everyone and, for those who want to take part, all you need is bike, a turbo trainer, and a Strava account.
Ride with your team or solo against others from around the world, all competing on a virtual course.
Throughout you'll be able to meet and mingle with other riders and enjoy a huge range of entertainment on offer, including a Virtual Music Stage and exciting partner areas.
You can also invite your friends and family to cheer you on.
It's £10 per participant and there will be lots of prizes and first-of-a-kind experiences on offer throughout.
